Adult Clay Evenings March-May
Enjoy a few evenings in the studio, create hand-built one of a kind creations with all the instruction and support you will need.
3 Evenings in the pottery studio. We will have 2 nights of creating with clay. The first two classes we will makes something using hand building and possible wheel thrown ceramic pieces. The final session we will learn how to glaze and underglaze the objects we created.

Spring is right around the corner, I can feel it! Not really but it has to come eventually. I am excited to start planning spring classes. I'm thinking its time for maybe bird houses, garden gnomes and other fun creations. Spring Break is March 27-31.

SUMMER CAMPS!
I plan to have camp all summer long. AM camp will be 2 hours, 10-12, *ages 6+ $175, PM camp will be 2.5 hours, 1-3:30, *ages 9+, $200. Campers will be introduced to a variety of techniques, skills, in hand building, wheel throwing and glazing. Kids can repeat camps. As kids improve their skills, they will be encouraged to explore and develop more independently.

Saturday Adult Pottery Class
Taught by Jamie Kadas
March Option- This class will run from 10am-Noon for three weeks on Saturday, March 11, 18, 29. No experience necessary! You will be taught to create a variety of ceramic items such as serving platters, vases, candle holders, and you will even get to try the potter's wheel! Maximum 8 people.
April Option- This class will run from 10am-Noon for three weeks on Saturday, April 1, 15, 29. No experience necessary! You will be taught to create a variety of ceramic items such as serving platters, vases, candle holders, and you will even get to try the potter's wheel! Maximum 8 people.
Price: $120 for 3-week ceramic class. The price includes all your clay, glazes, and 6 hours of instructional time with Jamie Kadas.

Introducing Jamie:
Art has been my passion since I was a kid. I have always loved artwork that you can pick up and hold in your hands. As a high school art teacher, ceramics is by far the BEST subject to teach. I love watching students grow as artists and create work that reflects their personality. Outside of clay, I like to create comic books, hike with my dog, and take road trips with my husband. I am excited to work with aspiring artists of all backgrounds at Bothwell Pottery!

As we all know January and February will bring cold shivery days with early sunsets. However the studio will be warm and bright. A great escape from the winter that is sure to come.

I am excited to offer up my first short sessions for adults. Enjoy a few evenings in the studio, create hand-built one of a kind creations with all the instruction and support you will need.
3 Evenings in the pottery studio. We will have 2 nights of creating with clay. The first class we will make gnomes. We will decide what to make week 2, I have Christmas tree candle project that might be cool. The final session we will learn how to glaze and underglaze the objects we created. Sessions will be combined or cancelled depending on interest and availability.

Fall Classes, Election Day and Thanksgiving Camps!
I am excited to offer up my fall kids classes. Please fill out the form linked below. As always ages are suggested and classes are subject to availability. Classes start Nov 1 and end December 15. The week of thanksgiving we will have a break but I will be offering day camps.
Prices have not changed, price reflects 6 week sessions.

I will offer day camps for Election Day as well as some days around Thanksgiving Break. Morning and afternoon camp will be the same or very similar so feel free to choose any day either AM or PM. Kids can come for one, two or all three days. I do not plan to have lunch supervision.

Clay Party!
Birthday Parties, Scout Troops, Celebrate a special event at Bothwell Pottery. Parties last from one to two hours. Often we will work together to pick a theme or project. For example the Harry Potter inspired mandrake pots, Bobble heads, Mug with a soccer team name, player number or logo. All the projects are individually hand made by the participants.
Parties start at $100 event fee plus $15 a participant. Minimum 8 kids and max is around 15.

My passion for Pottery started in 2014. While I have created with clay since high school, throwing on the pottery wheel fascinated me. Bothwell Pottery has long been a dream of mine. Offering handbuilding and wheel classes to artists young and old. Outside of art, I love fishing, skiing and travelling.
